What is it?

A Teletherapy session is the same as a therapy session in the office except it is done through a secure, HIPPA compliant video service, similar to Skype. This allows you to attend sessions in the comfort of you own home, your office, or anywhere you have an internet connection!

If you would like to use Teletherapy for some sessions you can also have in person sessions as well, and book Teletherapy at your convenience!

Teletherapy sessions must be booked at least 24 hrs in advance and cannot be substituted for previously booked in person sessions without prior agreement with the clinician.

Why would I want to use Teletherapy?

There are many reasons someone would choose to attend therapy sessions over video conferencing, such as:

  • Convenience
  • Inclement Weather
  • Driving Time
  • Away on Vacation
  • Illness
  • Increased Privacy
  • Mobility Issues
  • Childcare Issues

Video sessions allow you to receive support in a convenient way, limiting the time you have to be gone from important things you need to attend to!

Who is it for?

Teletherapy is currently offered for individual sessions only. Clients must be physically located in VT or NH at the time of sessions due to licensing regulations.

If you are interested in scheduling a video session please feel free to email info@uppervalleytherapy.com for more information.
